Update for 8/24

Hi Parents and staff,

Wanted to give you a quick update on our rehearsals. Things are going FANTASTIC : ) !!!!!! The kids are absolutely amazing! The show is coming together, and we are on track for our production schedule. We could not be happier with your young ones. They are giving us 100% and we are getting through the basic leg work of the show.

We are very excited to be at the pavilion at Butterfield Park starting on Tuesday, August 27th. YES! As we transition from park to pavilion, some blocking and choreography may need to be changed to accommodate the big stage. Please let your children know that this is a normal part of the process, and they will need to be flexible.

Leads and Production staff are to be at every Saturday "lead only" rehearsals. Unless you are told by the Director personally not to be there, plan on being there.
It is crucial that the kids (and staff) be to every practice. Your child being late or not showing up can effect where they are placed in the singing and dancing and may be subject to replacement as a lead in the show. PLEASE parents make sure your kids are there. Absences are to be approved by the Director..
 
Parents, please check the face book page and blog regularly. As we get closer to opening night, we will be putting more and more details and info. We are saving money and paper by not sending home notes every time with the kids, but there are very important items that you will want to keep yourself up to date and informed.

One last note, if you have not signed up for volunteer hours, please contact Erin Oliphant in order to sign up. We ask that you give two hours of your time in order to make this show a success!
