Saturday - 9/14 Rehearsal

This Saturday rehearsal, 9/14, ALL leads need to attend. We will be doing a full run through of the performance without the chorus songs. The rehearsal will be at Butterfield Park Pavilion from 10am-11:30am
We have also set up a special class for all the princesses. This will be held from 12:30-1:30 at the Butterfield Park Pavilion also. We have a former Miss Herriman coming to teach all of our princesses some techniques for the show.
Please let us know if you have any questions!

Cast Party - Date Change

Due to unforeseen circumstances our Cast Party is being moved from Wednesday the 25th, to Thursday Sept 26th at Main Street Park. We hope you can all still come and attend this fun potluck party. We have scheduled a DJ from Munchkin radio to come and play games and songs for the kids. It should really be a lot of fun. The committee in charge of the party will be getting in touch with you and sending your food assignments this week. : )

Again THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 26 - CAST PARTY

Photograph release for advertising

Parents we have had a request from the city and from the Herriman Arts Council for pictures from our practices and the show to put up on their websites. If any parents do not want their child to have their pictures public on either the HAC blog or on the city website, please contact a member of the production staff. If we do not hear from you, we will take this as your authorization to go a head and post pictures of your child.

Videographer needed!

In case the earlier post didn't sound urgent enough, I will reiterate.
We are in need of someone to video the show and make a master DVD from which I can make the necessary copies.
If we don't find someone this week, there will be no DVD.  That prospect makes me very sad since this is going to be such an awesome show!  You and your kids will want to preserve this memory forever.
So please, ask your friends and neighbors.  Is anyone able to film at least one night of the show?

Flyers and Poster to Print

ATTENTION!

The videographer we had reserved for the show has just backed out. We are in DESPERATE need of someone to step in and video the show. We will also need someone to burn the DVDs for the cast and crew. The show is in 9 days, and we need someone to take this on as soon as possible.
Please contact a member of the production staff if you know anyone (friends/ family / neighbors) that may be interested in helping the kids workshop out. We will be needing the show recorded and about 100 dvd burned.
Thank you so much for all your help!

Fairies:
Needed -

Light colored leggings, tights or fitted pants.
Light colored shoes. Can be dance or ballet shoes, but not required

Provided -
Various colored tutus (picked out by your child)
Various colored wings (picked out by your child)

Black leggings, tights, or fitted pants.

NOTE: A local company, Sparkle In Pink, is having a sale on their Minnie Mouse tutus. They're $15. Here's the link: http://www.sparkleinpink.com/products/pettiskirts/deluxe-minni-mouse-pettiskirt.php. This is NOT required, but would be really cute with the outfit!

Provided -
Minnie Mouse ears
Black tail

Makeup -
Remember that stage lights wash out faces, and we would like to see a little color in those cute cheeks! Mascara, pink blush, and pink lipstick are recommended! If you are able to do any sort of mouse makeup, that would be great. If not, we are able to add whiskers as well.
